Our Mission
Our mission is what brought us together, and that is taking Jesus to Ecuador. We are just a small group of people who were looking to make a huge impact on those around us. Through our church, First Baptist Church Orange, is how we came to know about this amazing opportunity. The mission trip took place through an organization called Servant Life, and we would had the chance to work directly with local missionaries in Ecuador. For many of us this was our first trip to Ecuador, and it definitely will not be our last. While there we helped with a kids camp, journeyed into the
jungle to a community to bring compassion bags to their kids, and overall were
able to show the love of God to those around us through our words and actions. One
of our mottoes before leaving was love God and love people. By being obedient
and going to Ecuador we feel like we were able to do just that. Our shirts say,
"Love has no limits," and we truly believe that saying or else we
would not have made the journey down to Ecuador. This experience showed us what
we need to work on as individuals, how we need to grow in our faith, and how to
better serve those around us. We would not have been successful in our journey
or our mission if it had not been for all of the love, prayers, and support
that we received.

Getting There
One of our main fundraisers to help us get to Ecuador was selling t-shirts. An organization called Fund the Nations designed these shirts especially for us to sell as a fundraiser. Along with the shirts, we had fundraisers where we would cook and sell meals for lunch after church, hosted a rag-ball tournament, and sent letters out to friends and family members in order to obtain donations. Each of these fundraisers help us obtain the financial aid needed to make our trip possible.
